Pet: An owl by the name of Dante Boggart: A Snake, Mandy is deathly terrified of them. Patronus: A lion- which represents strength, courage, energy and Ferocity Appearance: When Mandy was young, she could've easily been mistaken for a boy. She was very pale and thin. As she grew, she began to take on very distinct features- but she was still on the shorter side, standing at only 5'3", and she was still rather petite and athletic side- from years of playing Qudditch and flying a broom. She has thick, dark brown curly hair and dark brown eyes that reflect a myriad of colors. Being a pureblood, and one of a rather distinct family, she wears high priced robes or her school uniform constantly- but over the years she's taken to picking up on some muggle fashions from friends at school and vacationing with her brother. She's not like most girls, she prefers a natural look and rarely wears make-up. PB: Emmy Rossum  History: If there's one thing that the Brocklehurst family prides themselves on, It's their lineage. As far back as they can trace, their family has been at Hogwarts in the House of Ravenclaw, and have gone on to be very respectable and wealthy wizards and witches in society. If her intermediate family is proud of one fact, It's their heritage. They've been supporters of anyone willing to cleanse the Wizarding World of muggle-borns and half-bloods as far as back their family can be traced, although they've managed to escape prosecution by the Ministry only due to their wealth and standing. Mandy is the middle child of Josephine and Hannibal Brocklehurst. She grew up in their family home located on the outskirts of Leicestershire; away from muggles with enough privacy to suit their extravagant needs. She has an older brother named William who graduated in 1989, and a younger brother named Charles, whose six. Being the only girl in the family, she was always very spoiled and well cared for. She got whatever she wanted, but whatever she wanted wasn't what the typical girl wanted. Other girls were after new sets of robes and make-up, she wanted text books and the latest racing broom. Because she spent so much of her childhood chasing William around, she developed his extreme love of Qudditch. As soon as she was old enough, he had her on a broom learning the finer points of the game. When he left for school, she found herself rather depressed because she didn't really have anyone to talk too. But she devoted a lot of her time caring for Charles because her parents were much too busy with their parties and political goals. Because of the family beliefs, there are some other wizarding families that refuse to socialize with them. When William left the house, he left on bad terms with his parents because he also didn't feel the same way as they did. He didn't ask for any support, and made quite a name for himself managing various famous Qudditch teams. Whenever Mandy is forced to go home, she'll go collect Charles and a lot of the time they spend their summers and holidays with him. Mandy is very distanced from her parents, and other descendants. Personality: While Mandy grew up with her parents being blood purists, she doesn't feel the same way they do. She's very open minded, and she doesn't pass judgment on people because of their bloodline, or feel that her blood makes her any better than anyone else. She believes what makes a good witch or wizard is the ability to use your magic for good, and to help people. She's a firm believer that whatever you do will come back to you- whether good or bad. Mandy has gotten the stereotype of being sweet and innocent over the years- and she feels it's because she's never really been outspoken- or had a reason too. She is bundle of contradictions because she chooses to be- she's not as innocent as people would like to believe- but she does find that the image helps her and that's why she doesn't go out of her way to prove anything. While Mandy has some typical Ravenclaw traits, she doesn't spend her whole afternoon with her nose in a book, or at least a text-book. She enjoys reading muggle literature at school, because she can't at home. She can be cuttingly sarcastic though, and is very witty. She tries to be a well-rounded individual. While traveling with her brother, she's picked up some muggle things- such as coffee, which is something she's become somewhat addicted too. She likes watching TV's, although she's not too sure about them.  Mandy is a little short tempered, and when something truly bothers her, she'll either lock it inside or become very angry or sad at the drop of a hat. While she has the ability to work-out her problems very well, first she has to calm down enough to see reason. The odd part is that while she can sometimes have a problem solving her own problems, she's a very good listener and is always willing to lend a shoulder for her friends. Strengths and Weaknesses: Mandy's strength is the fact that she's very well rounded- she knows a little bit about everything and that makes her somewhat sociable because it gives her the ability to be social and talkative. She's very fair and opened minded- and she has the ability to retain information. She's very compassionate with people, and very understanding of people and their plights. Her Academic strengths are Potions and History of Magic. Her weakness is when she's get upset, she doesn't always calm down and take a deep breath, sometimes she gets mad or sad and just locks it inside. She puts people problems above her own quite frequently, which means hers don't ever get solved. In school, she's not good with Herbology, and tells people she kills most plants and to keep them away from her for their own sake. Habits\Quirks: Mandy always keeps her wand tucked securely up her left sleeve, and if it's not there she knows she misplaced it. She taps her foot when she's in a rush for something, or something's on her mind. When she's reading, she occasionally licks her finger while turning pages. When Mandy's blushing she tries to hide her face in her hair, and she sometimes twirls a strand of it when she's thinking or nervous. Friends and Enemies: Mandy's best friend is Harry- and she spends a lot of time with The 'Golden Trio'- including Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger- among the other Gryffindors. Her other closest friends are on the Ravenclaw Qudditch Team- Michael Corner and Padma Patil. She has a few friends in Slytherin, such as Theodore Nott- but he also holds the same views as her on pureblood supremacy. She's also very close with Ryaan Askew of Hufflepuff. She doesn't care for people who hold the 'Slytherin' Ideals, or side with the Death Eaters.
